Located 36 km from Bonito, in the Chapeninha Valley, the Ceita Corê tour offers six waterfalls open to the sun, a zip line over the Chapena River, and 300 meters of snorkeling float in crystal-clear waters. But it is the geology that defines the experience: the submerged cave at the spring of the Chapena River has been mapped down to 155 meters, and the bottom remains unknown.
This contrast between the exposed waterfalls and the underground cave makes each stop feel unexpected. The snorkeling float closes the aquatic route, followed by a wood-fired lunch with artisanal sweets. With a duration of 4 hours, the tour delivers variety without the need for additional travel. For Bonitour, it is the most complete combination of trails and waterfalls in the region.

The submerged cave of the Chapena River is the turning point of the tour. Immersed inside limestone rock, it has been explored by technical divers down to 155 meters, and the bottom remains unknown. It is a karst system that geologists are still far from fully understanding.
For visitors, the impact is direct: after walking among waterfalls open under the sun, you arrive at a dark entrance where the water disappears underground. No one knows how far it goes.
The zip line crosses the Chapena River and adds adrenaline to the itinerary. Then, the 300-meter snorkeling float with included life jacket and snorkel closes the aquatic part of the experience. In the farm structure, visitors find changing rooms with showers to change before lunch, lockers to leave belongings during the trail, a restaurant with a wood-fired stove, a swimming pool, a playground for children, and a hammock area for resting. Observable wildlife includes collared peccaries, capybaras, monkeys, anteaters, macaws, and toucans.

Ceita Corê begins at the farm gate and is organized into stages that complement one another without repeating the environment.
The trail runs through the valley with six stops for swimming in waterfalls of varied volume. Each stop has its own scenery: stone, foam, the sound of falling water. The walk between the points is light, with no technical sections, and works well for children and adults.
A zip-line section crosses the river. The jump takes place over running water. The next stop is the spring.
The view of the spring is an opening of emerald-green water surrounded by rock. The submerged cave begins at this opening: the same entrance that technical divers descended to 155 meters without reaching the bottom. For those observing from the edge, the water simply disappears beneath the rock.
The final aquatic experience is a 300-meter snorkeling float in the Chapena River with life jacket and snorkel. The water is clear enough to see the bottom at several points. Snorkel and life jacket are provided on site, so it is not necessary to bring your own equipment.
Lunch is served on the property, prepared on a wood-fired stove. The menu includes regional dishes and artisanal sweets. It is included in the tour price.

Ceita Corê works well for those who want to experience trails, waterfalls, and water without having to choose just one thing. The combination of zip line, snorkeling float, and submerged cave fills 4 hours with variety, and each stop has a different rhythm.
Families with children find suitable structure (playground, swimming pool, changing rooms) and a trail that does not require physical conditioning. Couples looking for different types of experience on the same day also fit well. Moderate difficulty means it is not necessary to be in shape to complete the tour, but the trail has sections of uneven terrain.
Transportation is not included in the price and must be contracted separately. Those traveling with small children should assess whether the 4-hour duration works with the child’s rhythm.
The 300-meter snorkeling float is the closing part of the aquatic route; if the visitor prefers to skip it, they need to inform this in advance, since the equipment is provided together with the itinerary.

The cave is located at the spring and is not accessible for regular swimming; visitors observe it from the edge. Technical divers have already explored it, but access for the general public is for contemplation only.
It is not mandatory. The life jacket provides enough buoyancy, and the snorkel allows you to observe the crystal-clear bottom.
