At Balneário Eco Park Porto da Ilha, the Rio Formoso flows around Ilha do Padre while visitors decide the pace of the day: boia cross, stand up paddle, duck, inflatable boat and electric boat on the river waters, or simply the rest area beside the lake.

The natural swimming area is 12 km from Bonito/MS (15 minutes) and was one of the first attractions to have tourist infrastructure in the destination, since the 1970s.

The Day Use includes access to the natural swimming area and parking; the water activities are booked separately. There are no participation restrictions.

Ilha do Padre is literally an island in the Rio Formoso, with crystal-clear and preserved waters, and regulated use since fishing was prohibited in the destination decades ago. The setting is open nature, with the river around it and complete infrastructure on site.

Eco Park’s structure includes a changing room, shower, accessible restroom, lockers, Wi-Fi, rest area and restaurant. There are no participation restrictions: the Day Use is suitable for all ages and all traveler profiles.

The Day Use guarantees access to Ilha do Padre and the Rio Formoso, with use of the complete on-site structure: rest area, changing room, shower, restrooms and lockers. The restaurant is available on site for meals (not included in the Day Use).

Available water activities

On site there are boia cross, stand up paddle, duck (inflatable kayak), inflatable boat and electric boat tour. These activities are charged separately from the Day Use and can be added to the itinerary.
